Main Function
The trademark is based on "Generation and
provision of energy, including electricity generation, for example,
through solar power". The
economic viability of the solar industry will depend on the following
objectives.
- The installation of reliable products to the consumer.
- The latest research ensures that solar energy products are state of the art and efficient.
- Industry networks and joint ventures will provide the best service available to give the industry credibility.
Wise Earth P/L via solar-e.com
is achieving this through it's commercial activities, as well
as it's research and promotional activities, giving the company
along with it's joint venturers a solid future in the market place.
Corporate Ownership
The website solar-e.com is currently a trading
entity of WISE EARTH P/L, a company owned and registered in Western
Australia. It is a privately owned company that has professional
and corporate involvement in many activities. Apart from the function
of selling solar systems to generate electricity the company is
involved in research, product promotion, energy auditing, consultancy,
climate sensible design of housing, solar architecture, and higher
education. All of these interests are focused on a truly sustainable
lifestyle, based on a solar economy.
Partnerships
The vision behind the website is to create a resource
that has multi-ownership and enjoys the benefits of joint ventures
with universities, the international and regional solar energy
societies: ISES (international), ANZSES (Australia and New Zealand),
ASES (America), ESES (Europe), and other like minded national
bodies, globally based solar industry groups, research organizations,
and other information based websites, as well as eminent individuals.
Working through the current corporate structure, liability will
allow commercial operations to continue and protect the not-for-profit
activities, it's network of associations, and profit organizational
partners.
The Future
Garry Baverstock (The Founder) now pledges that
after his death the website resource will be left to the control
of organizations involved in it's development (according to
the bequest he makes). The intent is to leave a legacy that
has financial viability to promote and encourage positive economic,
social and environmental consequences for mankind in perpetuity,
and occupies an area which reaches out in a way that, in part,
not-for-profit organizations, governments or direct commerce
may not be able to fulfil. It is the intent to lead to a truly
solar economy in ALL its aspects.
The website is intended
to be the "glue" that
helps to integrate all the endeavours. Ownership must therefore
eventually be partly by industry organizations, societies,
research bodies, key commercial entities - all that have government
endorsement and support at a local, state, national, and international
level.
It may at some point become a non profit organization
or controlled by one (this possibility is left open by the founders).
The main point is that it must have political, corporate, intellectual
and ethical independence. A combination of all mandates, a reflection
of true life if you like. Freedom to manage it by ethical individuals
is the guiding thread in its proposed evolutionary path. Protection
of it is paramount.
Are You Interested?
A contract with joint venturers is currently being
drafted. Any interested parties are invited to contact
the director if there is genuine interest in being corporately
involved.
The intention for the website solar-e.com and
its corporate support structure is to be economically viable
and provide cash flow that will eventually assist the solar
industry, societies and associated parties with;
- Net profits distribution to assist joint venturers endeavours or enterprises
- Future scholarships and cadetship's for the young
- Possible seed grants or investments in viable embryonic ideas of creative inventors and researchers
- Reinvestment into IT promotion and e-business to benefit all participants, sponsors, advertisers, and above all our greatest asset on planet earth - our youth!
